Youth Tournament Sports Photography in Minneapolis

Tournament weekends move fast. I’ll track your athlete all weekend so you don’t have to choose between watching and capturing.

What You’ve Been Missing

I’m a Minneapolis sports photographer focused on individual player coverage at youth baseball, softball, and hockey tournaments. I’m not shooting the whole field and hoping your athlete ends up somewhere in the frame. I’m there for your athlete.

With professional lenses that reach across the field and settings built for fast action, I’m able to capture moments that a phone simply can’t reach.

You get fully edited, high-resolution images delivered in a private online gallery, ready to download, share, and print.

I’ve been photographing sports for over 10 years and have covered football, basketball, baseball, softball, and hockey. Each sport moves differently, and knowing where to be — and when to move — makes all the difference.

You watch the game. I’ll take care of the photos.

Want Photos That Go Beyond the Game?

Sportraits are dramatic, studio-style athlete portraits shot on location — your field, your gym, your rink — with professional lighting and smoke effects.

Think poster-worthy images your athlete will actually use. Solo sessions start at $250.

Tournament Photography

Tournaments are where a lot of the best moments happen. And also where they’re easiest to miss. Multiple locations, constant movement, and a full weekend of games make it hard to keep up.

Register ahead of time, check in when you arrive, and I’ll take it from there. I take on a limited number of athletes per tournament so each one gets the attention they deserve.

How Tournaments Work

Baseball moves fast, and the moments don’t wait around.

From the outfield to the plate, I use professional lenses that capture the action clearly and consistently. I move throughout the game to get the angles that tell the story — the swing, the slide, the play at the plate.

These are the moments you want to keep.

The breakaway. The shot on goal. The reaction after the whistle — win or lose.

Hockey produces some of the most intense moments in youth sports, and those moments deserve images that match. I move around the rink throughout the game to stay in position as the play develops, so I’m ready when it matters.

Shooting through the glass in low light is technically demanding. I use the right equipment and settings to handle those conditions so the images come out sharp, clear, and usable.

What parents are saying…

  • “The one shot I really wanted was my son sliding into home. Trish nailed it. She was able to show the dirt flying and his concentration. We had it printed on a large canvas for his room and it’s easily my favorite photo of him.”
    T.R.
    Baseball Mom
  • “Professional with quick turnaround. We could not be happier with the photos and experience Trish provided. Our son’s baseball photos came out perfect and we have quality photos to keep forever that capture this time in his life. 10/10 recommend!”
    I.G.
    Baseball Parent
  • “Hockey moves so fast that I can never get any good pictures of my son. Trish gets right in there. You can see the ice flying and the faces. Some of the facial expressions are hilarious!

Questions Parents Ask Before They Register

Tournament packages include 5, 10, or 15 images. Game day individual coverage includes all usable images. The total depends on game action and playing time.

Your gallery will be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks after the tournament.

For baseball and softball, playing time affects the number of images. If it impacts your package, I’ll reach out before editing and give you options.

If a tournament is canceled entirely, you’ll receive a full refund. No credits, no hassle.

If your athlete is injured, notify me at least 24 hours before the tournament starts and I’ll issue a full refund. Cancellations after that window are non-refundable.

Yes. Additional downloads and print products are available through your gallery.

Send it my way. I’m actively adding tournaments and always booking on a first-come basis. Request Tournament Coverage

I keep my athlete count intentionally small so every kid on my list gets real attention throughout the tournament — not a handful of shots because I’m spread across too many athletes.

If a tournament doesn’t reach the minimum registrations needed to proceed, I’ll notify you in advance and issue a full refund.
