Senior Portrait Photographer — Plymouth & Maple Grove, MN

Class of 2027 sessions are open — it always sneaks up faster than you expect.

Before Everything Changes.

Senior year sneaks up on you. One minute you’re juggling carpools and practices, and the next you’re realizing this is the last time you’ll have photos of them before everything changes. I photograph seniors all across the Plymouth and Maple Grove area, and no matter how many sessions I do, that part never gets old.

I’ve been through the high school years myself (I just wrapped up my youngest’s senior year), so I know how quickly this season shows up and how much these photos end up meaning later.

And while most teens are pros at taking photos on their phones, being in front of a real camera can feel a little different. I keep things relaxed and guide them throughout so it never feels awkward — unless you count my occasional mom humor.

What matters most is that the photos actually feel like your kid right now. Not overly posed or overdone — just them as they are in this season. They’re the photos you’ll hang onto long after graduation, and the ones they’ll look back on someday and be glad you made them do.

What Other Parents Are Saying

  • “Wow, wow, wow!! Trisha took the time with my daughter to capture truly great senior photos. My daughter shared some ideas of what she wanted, and Trisha found the perfect spot to bring all of it together. Great eye for detail, super patient (with a mom-ager), and gorgeous photos delivered quickly. Highly recommend!”

Questions Parents Ask Before They Book

Most seniors schedule their session in summer or fall, and both are great options. Summer gives you longer days and a lighter, more casual look. Fall brings cooler weather and changing leaves. It really comes down to the look you prefer. The biggest thing is booking early enough to get the timing you want instead of being limited to what’s left later in the season.

Three to six months is ideal. Summer and fall dates fill up, especially July and August. If you have a specific season or location in mind, booking early gives you the most flexibility.

If the forecast isn’t looking great, I’ll be in touch ahead of time to reschedule. Cloudy skies are actually great for photos, but if we’re dealing with rain or storms, we’ll always choose a better day.

The best outfits are the ones that reflect their style and make them feel like themselves. A mix of casual and dressier options works well for variety, but there are no hard rules here.

After booking, I’ll send over a detailed style guide with everything you need to know — what works well on camera, how to prep, and what to avoid. By the time shoot day arrives, you’ll feel ready.

Your full gallery will be ready within two to three weeks. Every image is fully edited and delivered in high resolution, ready to download and share.
