Senior Portrait Photographer — Plymouth & Maple Grove, MN
Class of 2027 sessions are open — it always sneaks up faster than you expect.
Before Everything Changes.
Senior year sneaks up on you. One minute you’re juggling carpools and practices, and the next you’re realizing this is the last time you’ll have photos of them before everything changes. I photograph seniors all across the Plymouth and Maple Grove area, and no matter how many sessions I do, that part never gets old.
I’ve been through the high school years myself (I just wrapped up my youngest’s senior year), so I know how quickly this season shows up and how much these photos end up meaning later.
And while most teens are pros at taking photos on their phones, being in front of a real camera can feel a little different. I keep things relaxed and guide them throughout so it never feels awkward — unless you count my occasional mom humor.
What matters most is that the photos actually feel like your kid right now. Not overly posed or overdone — just them as they are in this season. They’re the photos you’ll hang onto long after graduation, and the ones they’ll look back on someday and be glad you made them do.

What a Senior Photo Session Actually Looks Like
Book and Breathe
Choose your session, pick a date, and once your contract is signed and retainer is in, you’re on the calendar. That’s it.
Session Planning
I’ll send over a quick questionnaire so I can get a feel for your senior’s personality, style, and anything that’s important to you. You’ll also get my session guide with tips on outfits, how to prep, and what to expect — so everyone shows up feeling ready. I’ll check in again a few days before just in case anything comes up.
Shoot Day
We meet at the location and get started. I’ll guide your senior the whole time — including what to do with their hands, because that’s always the first question. Nothing feels rushed, and most sessions end up more relaxed than seniors expect.
Gallery Delivery
Your full gallery will be ready within two to three weeks. You’ll be able to download and share your images however you’d like. Professional-quality prints are available directly through your gallery if you want them — always optional, never required.
