Hey there! 

I’m Trish and I’ll be your photographer today.

okay.  maybe not today, but soon, hopefully!

Trisha Brinkhaus, portrait photographer specializing in seniors, sports and family photographer located in Plymouth, MN and service Maple Grove, New Hope, Wayzata and all northwest Minneapolis suburbs.

I’m an extroverted introvert—yep, that’s a thing! I’m equally happy hyping up a senior during their session or quietly perfecting the little details that make a photo just right. I’m also ridiculously competitive (mostly with myself) and obsessed with learning new things. Maybe that’s why I love photographing sports—the fast pace, the split-second decisions, the challenge of capturing the perfect moment. But no matter what I’m shooting, that drive to always do better keeps me pushing for the next great shot.

Wife + Mom + Photographer

I’m mom to 2 kids, and I’ve been married to Dave for over 25 years.

I have always had a passion for photography.  But once my kids were born I found myself taking pictures of their every move just trying to make time stand still. I blinked and now look at them!  One newly married and the other in high school! I can barely remember those newborn days. I am so thankful to have so many photos to look back on.

Why I Love What I Do (And Why It Matters to You)

Here’s the heart of it: I love taking photos. Seriously, it’s my happy place. But more than that, I’m passionate about capturing those fleeting, precious moments in life that deserve to live forever.

Your phone’s camera is awesome for selfies and cat videos (no judgment here!), but it’s not gonna cut it when you want something extraordinary; something that makes your heart do a little happy dance every time you see it. That’s where I come in!

I’m on a mission to fill your walls with actual art. Not just digital dust bunnies that get lost in the abyss of your hard drive. I’m talking about portraits that are so good, they’ll make your grandkids say, “Wow, Grandma/Grandpa, you were a total rockstar!”

Forget scrolling through hundreds of “meh” photos. I’m all about quality over quantity. Every. Single. Image. Should. Feel. Like. A. Favorite. Because honestly, your story deserves to be told in the most beautiful, timeless way possible.
